“Terrific writing and comic delivery... relevant and meaningful.” -- Melissa Strong, Broad Street Review

WHORE'S EYE VIEW is a mad dash through 10,000 years of history from a sex worker’s perspective. Weaving history, comedic storytelling, and the wisdom of lived experience, Kaytlin Bailey artfully unpacks the complex, age-old stigma underpinning the oldest profession, a status quo designed to keep women in their place. Kaytlin’s eye opening message is a compassionate, clarion call, a crash course in history, and a game changing roadmap for progress that can be sustained once and for all.
WHORE'ES EYE VIEW has been seen in New York at The Tank, Caveat, QED, and Under St. Marks. It has toured internationally with performances in US cities including Philadelphia, San Francisco, Oakland, Pittsburgh, Nashville and Los Angels, as well as internationally in Australia and New Zealand. Upcoming 2024 productions include San Francisco (Feb. 17), New Zealand (Feb. 20-24), Australia (March 5-17) and Los Angeles (March 30). For more information visit whoreseyeview.com.
Kaytlin Bailey is the host of The Oldest Profession Podcast and Founder & Executive Director of Old Pros, a non-profit media organization creating conditions to change the status of sex workers in society. A globally recognized leader in the sex worker rights movement, Kaytlin has written for The Daily Beast, Huffington Post, and Vice, and has been quoted in The New York Times, Rolling Stone, The Washington Post, and on NBC. Kaytlin’s views are backed by Amnesty International, The World Health Organization, Human Rights Watch, and UNAids who all agree that the decriminalization of sex work is the only policy that reduces violence. Her first one woman show, Cuntagious, enjoyed sold out performances.
