‘Twas the gig before Xmas, and all through the night, THE CAKE BOYS were scheming how to get the holiday season feeling right! Follow the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future, played by Muscles Monty, Sweaty Eddie, and Senerio (respectively), as they cast their next holiday haunting after the successful possession of Scrooge. But when debates on holiday traditions, seasonal jobs, and the potential robot overlord takeover crash the party, can the ghosts come to a consensus? Featuring chaotic takes on Christmas carols, live original music, and drag king performances, the Cake Boys present a holiday show of foolish and ghoulish proportions to raise your spirits high!

THE CAKE BOYS PRESENT... THE GIG BEFORE XMAS! will be presented on Wednesday, December 18 at 7 PM at The Laurie Beechman Theater (inside West Bank Café at 407 West 42nd Street at Ninth Avenue).  Doors open at 6pm with showtime at 7pm. Tickets are $24 for general admission or $35 for VIP tickets that include reserved front table seating and a meet-and-greet, available at www.SpinCycleNYC.com. Please note that there is also a $25 per person food/ drink minimum at all performances.

THE CAKE BOYS are an NYC based, multi-GLAM award nominated collective featuring drag kings, musicians, and alternative queer artists. Since their formation in 2020, the Cake Boys have produced over 80 shows across Brooklyn, Queens, and Manhattan, including weekly drag shows, open stages, and Takes the Cake, a large-scale 5 week drag king competition with special guest finale judges Murray Hill, Sasha Velour, and Dr. Wang Newton. Their work has been featured in Thrillist, Insider, Sidewalkkilla, The New York Times and on an episode of Revry’s “Queens of Kings”. Aside from live performances, the Cake Boys have produced several scripted digital shows, The Cake Night Show, which featured local drag kings and musicians stepping into a world of stop motion and VFX.
