LA-based actor, writer and comedian SAM PANCAKE (Gilmore Girls, Arrested Development, Will & Grace, Curb Your Enthusiasm) brings his hit show WASTED ON A BOY to The Laurie Beechman Theatre for its NYC debut. Performances are May 10 at 7pm & May 11 at 9:30pm. In WASTED ON A BOY, actor and comedian SAM PANCAKE gives an hilarious and rollicking oral history of his last 25 years in Los Angeles being one of the first out, gay, continually working actors of his generation. In this hour-long romp delivered in his signature rapid-fire style, Pancake shares show-biz war stories, gossip, revelations, rehab adventures, stalker scares, hard-won advice, cautionary tales and MUCH more from his decades in the trenches of The Industry as "Hollywood's Go-To Gay Guy."  

SAM PANCAKE is an American actor best known for his lead roles on Lovespring International and Kitchen Confidential, as well as recurring roles on Gilmore Girls, Will & Grace, Arrested Development and Curb Your Enthusiasm. He has also made memorable appearances on a number of popular television shows including The Mick, Transparent, Wings, Friends, The King of Queens, Fat Actress, Parenthood, Major Crimes, Cougar Town, and Charmed. His film credits include, Legally Blonde 2, A Holiday Engagement, Ready? OK!,  Straight-Jacket, Girls Will Be Girls (with Coco Peru and Varla Jean Merman) and Jackie Beat's Scream, Teen, Scream. He made his Laurie Beechman Theater debut last year in Hot Sweet & Sticky.
