JULIE WHEELER premieres her new show UNDER THE RADAR in New York at The Laurie Beechman Theatre on Friday, February 9, at 7:00 PM. Known for her signature mix of soulful song styling mixed with her unique brand of comedy, Wheeler covers artists as diverse as Joan Armatrading, Rihanna, Bobbie Gentry, and Gladys Knight and the Pips in the show. Julie is primarily known for her big, soulful voice, but she can also strap on...her guitar and ukulele and break your heart. JULIE WHEELER began her career performing alongside Zoe Lewis in The Lesbian Lounge Lizards. She appeared as Elvis in the off-Broadway spoof Viva Las Vegas, as well as appearing in the Obie Award-winning play Epidog. She appears in the films Lie Down with Dogs and Chasing Amy, and reprised her Viva Las Vegas role on the HBO series The L Word. Her last touring show was 2016's Butch Blanket Bingo.
