RuPaul's Drag Race star Stacy Layne Matthews premieres her new cabaret show "From Stacy, With Love..." Friday and Saturday, April 21-22 at the Laurie Beechman Theatre. Showtimes are 7 PM. Stacy Layne Matthews (best known for her role on Season 3 of RuPaul's Drag Race) is a plus size drag performer from North Carolina with a whole lot of love to give. Being a part of this business for 15 years, Stacy has encountered so much love from the community but a long with that comes the struggle for acceptance. "From Stacy, With Love..." is about her own experiences with love and loss and how they have made her the person she is today. Covering songs by a diverse array of artists including John Legend's (All Of Me), India Arie (Ready For Love) and Robyn (Dancing On My Own), Stacy offers an intimate encounter with love, laughter and great music.
