"Interesting, innovative and Pinteresque… The power of the play is in its linguistic word constructions." -- Theater Pizzazz
"Lauren Yee has written a wonderful play where the words are important, critical and still not enough. It is though provoking and intelligent… lovely, sometimes funny, always sincere and moving. It makes me ache for the right words to explain it." -- Reviews Off Broadway
"Unsettling... Lesser America has produced a show that evolves with every moment, and moves like music." -- Reviews Hub
"Mesmerizing… wonderful and fascinating." -- Stage Buddy
"What most distinguishes this intriguing puzzle of a play is the playwright’s concerns with the concomitant breakdown in language." -- NewYorkTheater.me
"In a word, haunting." -- Theater's Leiter Side
