'Tis the season... to get naked! Annual bawdy holiday comedy returns to Off-Broadway for 7th season.
November 29 - December 30 at The Cutting Room
“The new way to celebrate the holidays!” -- Time Out New York
“Honest and courageous, Naked Holidays steps outside the Disney-filled Christmas box by offering something entertaining, raw, and audaciously clever. This excitingly raunchy, provocative show will become more of a holiday tradition than egg nog and mistletoe.” -- BroadwayWorld.com
"As much genuine fun as a bunch of naked people can have together without mistletoe and a fishbowl. There’s nothing sexier than confidence and unfettered joy, and Naked Holidays comes decked in both. Bacchus bless us, everyone.” -- nytheater.com
After a wildly successful transfer to Off-Broadway in 2011, EndTimes Productions once again returns to Off-Broadway with the 7th Annual NAKED HOLIDAYS. Previews of this flesh-filled evening of non-traditional holiday mischief, music and merriment begins November 29th at The Cutting Room. Opening night is slated for December 8th.
NAKED HOLIDAYS is a darkly comic Yuletide bacchanalia of theater, music and burlesque. This boisterous holiday celebration puts a bawdy spin on some of our best-loved winter traditions. With all-new musical numbers and sketches, as well as the traditional full-monty closer, "The Naked People Play", Naked Holidays is sure to deliver more holiday cheer than you’ve felt since puberty. Highlights include:
• Christmas Village of the Damned: One infected elf spreads a zombie plague through Santa's workshop, threatening all the beloved characters of Christmas Village.
• A Very Paula Deen Hannukah: As part of her sensitivity training, Ms. Deen bakes latkas under the guidance of Rabbi Hirschfeld.
•Total Eclipse of the Heart: While Santa is away delivering toys, a lonely and frustrated Mrs. Claus indulges her darkest fantasies.
NAKED HOLIDAYS is written by Russell Dobular and the Naked Holidays Ensemble with additional material by Stacey Lane. It is directed by Russell Dobular and features a production team that includes Serena Miller (musical director), Tiffany Herrioett (choreographer), Chris Johnston and Sarah Pencheff (costumes), Evan Roby (lighting), Daniel Krause (set) and Jeremy Pape (production manager).
